We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced OSHC Assistants to join our fantastic team at Kids Academy Early Learning Centre in Forrestfield, WA. This is a part-time role that offers a flexible work environment and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of the children in our care.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities and programs for the children
- Ensuring a safe, nurturing and inclusive setting for all children
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Communicating effectively with parents/guardians, school staff and the broader community
- Supervising and supporting a team of OSHC Assistants
- Continuously seeking opportunities to improve the OSHC program
What we're looking for
- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar OSHC or childcare role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Enthusiasm,
creativity and a genuine passion for working with children
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, and a valid Working with Children Check
