About the role

Cardinia Engineering Group is seeking a skilled and experienced MR Driver/Maintenance/Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Pakenham, VIC. This full-time position is a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of our established engineering firm. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for a diverse range of duties, equipment maintenance, welding and fabrication. You will solve problems with your team on site with the experience of our technical team behind you. We operate over metropolitan and rural Victoria and occasionally into Southern NSW. There will be occasional overnight trips but this is rare and shared amongst the team.

What you'll be doing

- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles for the delivery and transportation of materials and equipment while servicing and or installing our clients products.

- Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment

- Carry out welding and fabrication tasks to a high standard, ensuring all work meets required specifications and that the finished job meets our clients expectations

- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in the Trades & Services industry





- Strong mechanical aptitude and proven skills in equipment maintenance and repair

- Welding and fabrication abilities, with experience across a range of materials and techniques

- Med-Rigid Valid driver's licence and experience operating commercial vehicles

- Effective & clear communication and problem-solving skills

- Commitment to workplace health and safety

- Versatile and adaptable to a changing environment
