About the Role

As the Laboratory Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating laboratory operations and supporting the delivery of high-quality analytical services. Working closely with laboratory leadership, you'll ensure workflows run efficiently while mentoring and developing your team.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily laboratory workflow and staffing to meet operational requirements.

- Monitor productivity, turnaround times, and quality performance.

- Lead, coach, and support laboratory employees to achieve team objectives.

- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.

- Support ISO/IEC 17025 quality systems, audits, and compliance activities.

- Investigate quality, safety,



and operational issues and implement corrective actions.

- Promote a positive, safe, and collaborative workplace culture.

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across laboratory operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience working within a laboratory environment.

- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.

- Solid organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of laboratory quality systems, including ISO/IEC 17025.

- A commitment to workplace health, safety, and quality standards.

- The ability to motivate, develop, and lead teams to achieve operational goals.
