Working in a close-knit team who are keen to provide support and guidance to ensure you have a long, rewarding and successful career in poly welding, this position will hit the ground running with several projects on the go.
This role will see you start your days from our Edinburgh workshop before heading out to various sites across the Adelaide metropolitan area in company vehicles, or prepping within the workshop on those days where weather conditions prevent site works from happening. We are committed to quality tradecraft, so attention to detail and pride in your work are crucial to making sure you get the job done right the first time, every time.
Key responsibilities:
- Complete install of HDPE pipe work and components, including assisting with civil works associated with HDPE installations.
- Assist in hydro testing in accordance with AS/NZ standards.
- Execute HDPE poly welding in all positions and situations.
- Correctly interpret general arrangement and isometric drawings for location, position and dimensions.
Skills and Qualifications required:
- Trade qualified with current poly tickets.
- Operation experience, Dixon and McElroy welding machines preferred.
- Drivers licence.
- Current White Card.
- Earthworks operator licences, confined and heights tickets desirable.
