Rimanui Farms (Australia) Limited Partnership is a privately owned, intergenerational business with large-scale cropping and livestock operations in Tasmania and northern NSW. Since 1996, the business has brought together long-term land development, strong financial backing, and a hands-on, values-driven culture. Rimanui is widely known for its commitment to sustainable farming, operational excellence, and fostering the long-term professional growth of its people.
The Position:
Based in our Sydney office, the newly created position of Farm Administrator will be responsible for providing critical administrative and bookkeeping support across our progressive, multi-regional farming aggregations. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will play a central role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, inventory administration, and compliance activities.
This position requires a proactive, systems-minded individual who can seamlessly bridge the gap between corporate office functions and our regional operations. You will work closely with Aggregation Managers and operational staff to ensure all field activities are accurately captured and reported, while maintaining robust internal controls. Crucial to success in this role is the ability to balance strict financial accuracy with an open, collaborative approach when supporting remote, fast-paced farming teams across states.
The Person:
We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following skills, experience, and key attributes:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administration, bookkeeping, accounts, or office management role—ideally within agriculture, primary production, or a related sector
- Robust proficiency using Xero (or similar accounting software) and intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail,
and a structured approach to records and document management
- Commercially minded with the capability to manage complex inventory tracking across grain, chemical, fuel, and livestock
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build trust and work productively with remote operational managers
- High level of discretion and a demonstrated ability to handle sensitive employee and business data appropriately
- Positive, flexible, and solution-focused attitude with a genuine willingness to support a busy, continuous-improvement environment
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a high-impact administrative role within a stable, well-capitalised agricultural group that is deeply focused on people, performance, and long-term sector excellence.
An excellent remuneration package tailored to experience is on offer for the successful candidate. For a confidential discussion or further information please call Charles MacCallum on 1300 380 701. Applications via www.rimfireresources.com
