Overview
The Y NSW Ettalong, New South Wales, Australia is hiring a permanent part-time Educator to support children at OSHC services in Ettalong, with Before School Care and After School Care responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide fun and engaging activities for primary school age children
- Help design a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program activities
- Support the OSHC Coordinators to ensure high-quality services and the safety and wellbeing of developing young minds
- Work closely with children and families, sharing guidance and passion to help children grow
Role Details
- Position: Educator - Children Services (OSHC)
- Hours: Before School Care 6.30–8.30 AM; After School Care 2.30–5.30 PM, Monday to Thursday
- Location: Ettalong, NSW
- Contract: Permanent part-time
About Your New Role
- You will provide fun and engaging activities for primary school age children
- You will help design a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program activities
- Reporting to the Coordinators of our OSHC centres; you will be one of over 200 educators who support children across NSW
- You will be able to follow our development pathways to learn current skills and build your career

To be Successful in This Role, You Will Have
- Experience supervising and interacting with children
- Ability to follow safeguarding priorities
- Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care hours
- Current First Aid HLTAID012 and CPR
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Police Check (paid for by the Y)
