Role Description The Structures Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Brisbane, QLD, overseeing day-to-day structural construction activities. This role coordinates and supervises site teams, ensuring structural works are completed safely, accurately, and in line with project plans and specifications.

Responsibilities include planning daily tasks, allocating labor and equipment, monitoring progress, and resolving on-site issues with trades, suppliers, and project managers.

The Structures

Foreman conducts site inspections, maintains quality and safety standards, reports on project status, and supports maintenance or rectification works as required. This position requires consistent presence on site to lead crews,



manage heavy equipment operations, and ensure productive workflow.

Qualifications

- Strong supervisory skills with experience leading site crews and coordinating structural construction activities.
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment relevant to structural works, including safe operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Practical carpentry skills and familiarity with structural framing, formwork, and finishes.
- Ability to oversee and perform maintenance or rectification tasks to uphold structural integrity and quality standards.
- Sound knowledge of construction safety regulations, risk management, and site compliance requirements.
- Proven experience as a Foreman, Leading Hand, or similar supervisory role in building or structural construction.
- Relevant trade qualification or certificate in carpentry, construction, or a related discipline is highly regarded.
- Competence in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work on-site in Brisbane, QLD.
