Role Description This is a full time, on-site Surveyor role based in the Greater Brisbane Area. The Surveyor will perform field surveys across civil, construction, cadastral, mining, and engineering sites, including setup and operation of surveying instruments, data collection, and site measurements.

Responsibilities include interpreting plans and specifications, conducting level and control surveys, and preparing accurate survey reports, plans, and digital records. The role involves liaising with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure survey data supports design, set-out, and compliance requirements. The Surveyor will also contribute to quality assurance,



adhere to safety standards, and maintain equipment in reliable working order.

Qualifications

Strong field surveying skills, including operation of total stations, GNSS/GPS, and related surveying instruments.

Proficiency in survey data processing and drafting using relevant software (e.g., CAD, surveying and mapping tools).

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, civil and construction plans, and cadastral documentation.

Sound knowledge of surveying principles, standards, and practices across civil, construction, and mining environments.

Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with site personnel and project stakeholders.

Good organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

Relevant tertiary qualification or certification in surveying or a closely related discipline.

Current driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites as required.

Commitment to workplace health and safety and adherence to company and regulatory requirements.

Previous experience in a surveying role within civil, construction, or mining sectors is highly regarded.
