Join a Small Team Where Your Work Actually Matters
We're looking for Draftsperson to join our growing sheet metal manufacturing business.

What You'll Be Doing
- Working alongside our workshop team to make sure designs are practical and manufacturable
- Communicating with production staff to keep jobs moving
- Creating 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Inventor
- Preparing accurate fabrication drawings for production
- Taking measurements on-site when required
- Maintaining BOMs, drawing revisions, and documentation
- Checking that designs meet customer requirements and relevant standards
- Helping identify better ways of doing things across both design and manufacturing
What We're Looking For
We're after someone who enjoys practical engineering and likes seeing their designs become real products.
Ideally, you'll have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience within the sheet metal or mechanical manufacturing industry
- Strong Autodesk Inventor skills
- A good understanding of sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes
- Experience with CAM software
- Valuable communication skills and attention to detail

- Must live in Western Australia

Why Work with Us?
Vortek is a young business with big plans. We're building something from the ground up and looking for people who want to grow with us.
You'll be joining a small, supportive team where your ideas are welcomed, your work is recognised, and you'll have the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of projects rather than being stuck doing the same thing every day.
If you're looking for a hands-on drafting role in a growing manufacturing business, we'd love to hear from you.
