Team Global Express is seeking a HR Driver / Forklift Operator to commence immediately in Wilsonton, Toowoomba.

This is a Full-Time Permanent Role, Monday - Friday Role.

About The Role

Complete deliveries and pick-ups promptly and according to time framesConduct multi-drop deliveries and pickups across the Toowoomba and surrounding regions in a safe and professional manner.Ensure all freight is loaded, secured and transported in accordance with company procedures and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.Provide a high level of customer service during deliveries and collections while maintaining a professional presentation at all times.Complete delivery paperwork, run sheets, electronic manifests and scanning accurately and in a timely manner.Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre-start checks, reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.Monitor freight conditions during transit and ensure safe handling of all customer goods.Plan and manage delivery runs efficiently to meet operational schedules and customer expectations.This role will also involve forklift loading and unloading duties, including the safe movement, handling and staging of freight within the yard and warehouse areas.Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks, trailers and pallets in accordance with site procedures and load restraint requirements.Assist with general yard and warehouse operations, including freight sorting, scanning, palletising and maintaining clean and organised work areas.Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processesRestraining loads safely as well as the correct use of straps and chains where requiredKeeping trucks, forklifts and equipment in a clean and maintainable condition, whilst also keeping the yard and your personal work area tidy





What You’ll Bring

You will hold a Current & Valid HR License or HigherYou will hold a current Forklift (LF) LicencePrevious experience operating forklifts in a transport, freight or warehouse environment will be highly regardedPrevious experience in HR truck driving, multi-drop deliveries or general freight transport will be highly regardedYou will be able to follow instructions and work autonomouslyYou must have excellent punctuality and the ability to complete deliveries in a timely mannerYou must have Full Rights to work in AustraliaYou must have a high attention towards SafetyYou will have the ability to safely load, unload and restrain freight in line with company and WHS requirementsYou will be physically fit and capable of completing manual handling tasks where requiredYou will have strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries
