The Opportunity
This role is ideal for someone who has completed or is currently completing the Diploma of Customs Broking and is looking to take the next step in their career.
If you have 1 to 2 years? experience within a freight forwarding setting and are eager to develop your skills in customs classification, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while working towards becoming a Qualified Classifier and ultimately a Licensed Customs Broker.

You will gain hands-on exposure across import entries, tariff classification, customs valuation, and documentation, while receiving ongoing mentoring and support as you build your technical knowledge

Key Responsibilities

- Reviewing and checking customs documentation and import information
- Assisting with tariff classification and customs valuation
- Preparing and pre-lodging import and export entries
- Calculating duties, taxes, and applicable charges
- Liaising with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth customs clearance
- Learning and developing technical knowledge across customs processes

What You'll Bring

- Completion of, or currently studying, the Diploma of Customs Broking




- MUST have 1 to 2 years? experience within a freight forwarding company
- Exposure to import/export documentation and forwarding processes
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career in Customs Broking
