FinXL is seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join one of our Federal Government clients in Canberra. In this role, you will play a vital defence line conducting defensive cyber security operations to protect global network infrastructure from malicious actors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to, investigate, and triage Cyber Security alerts across the network.
- Analyse security events and logs to identify patterns of potential anomalous activity and recommend security enhancements
- Actively assist in incident response and remediation functions.
- Assist with proactive threat hunt operations.
- Collaborate with Threat Intelligence teams to operationalise organisation-specific intel.

Technical Skill & qualification:





- Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Cyber Security Analyst or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience performing incident response activities.
- Active Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) clearance minimum, with the ability and willingness to obtain NV2.
- Well-developed writing skills and experience maintaining technical documentation.
- Ability to work well and share knowledge within a team.
