Express Employment is currently working with a well-established air compressor manufacturing company based in Silverwater.
Due to an increase in production, we are seeking experienced Storepeople with a forklift licence to join their growing team.
This is a hands-on warehouse all-rounder role involving forklift operation, order picking, packing, stock control and general warehouse duties.
A temp-to-permanent opportunity is available for the right person.
Hours: Mon - Thurs 7.30am - 4pm, Fri 7.30am - 2pm
Pay Rate: $34.96/h
Your duties will include
- Operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload trucks and containers
- Receiving and checking incoming stock
- Picking orders using paper pick slips
- Using strapping machine to strap pallets and prepare items for despatch
- Completing general manual handling and all-rounder warehouse duties
To be successful, you must have
- MUST HAVE Valid LF Forklift Licence *minimal forklift experience required
- Storeperson or warehouse experience is highly preferred
- Physically Fit - Lifting up to 25kg
- Your own reliable transport
- Positive attention to detail and a strong focus on safety
- A positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever required
- MUST BE an Australian Citizen or Perm Resident!
