Who you’ll be working with.
Surf Life Saving Queensland - Point Danger Branch is a leading volunteer‑based organisation dedicated to saving lives and supporting safer Queensland beaches. With a long history of community service, SLSQ - Point Danger Branch delivers lifesaving operations, member training, youth development, and coastal safety education across the state.
About the Role.
The Education & Training Supervisor will deliver Life Saving courses to Branch members and support the delivery of compliant nationally accredited and non-accredited surf awards and training. This is a full-time role, with some after-hours, evening, and weekend day work required depending on course schedules.
About You.
- Hold a Certificate IV or higher in Training and Assessment Qualification
- Current Trainer-Assessor experience within Surf Life Saving (preferred)
- Excellent written & verbal communication and skilled in writing evaluation reports
- Identify & deliver education opportunities understanding requirements of LTP & RTO
- Knowledge of Surfguard and aXcelerate or willingness to learn
- Experience working with volunteers, clubs,
committees and boards is favourable
Duties and Responsibilities.
- Coordinate, deliver and develop relevant programs within Life Saving Education
- Facilitate education calendar and communications regarding course
- Use data analysis and reporting to support planning and decision making
- Coordinate multiple projects and priorities across clubs and Branch operation
- Liaise and remain up to date with RTO requirements
As training may be delivered in various locations and with various age groups you must hold a current driver’s licence and working with children blue card.
