Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have experience in a retail environment? We are looking for a friendly and engaging Retail Shop Assistant to join our team at Zing Zing - The Fresh Food King in Kangaroo Flat, VIC.
This is a CASUAL role:
Typically offering 20-30 hours per week.
What you'll be doing
- Providing a warm and welcoming experience for all customers
- Assisting customers with product selection and ensuring their needs are met
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the store
- Restocking shelves and fridges as required
- Handling cash and operating the point of sale system
- End of day cleaning
- Supporting the team with other ad-hoc tasks as needed
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer-facing retail role
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience required
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- A friendly, positive and proactive attitude
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- FLEXIBILIY to work a range of shifts including:
- opening the store
- closing the store
- ONE WEEKEND DAY PER WEEK
- Public holidays.
- Australian work rights required
