This is an exciting prospect to join BA Pumps & Sprayers as an Assembler. As a member of the production team, you will be joining a dedicated team of assemblers and ensuring the productive and high-quality assembly of products at our North Geelong, Victoria facility. This full-time role offers excellent opportunities for career development in a dynamic and growing manufacturing environment.
What you'll be doing
- Assemble a variety of Agricultural spraying equipment ranging from basic linkage sprayers, larger broadacre linkage sprayers to large custom truck sprayers
- Fitting of Agricultural GPS guidance systems and Automatic rate controllers
- Sub-Assembly of basic components for spray units
- Test, diagnose and repair assembly faults
- Keep a safe and organised work environment and adhere to all health and safety protocols
What we're looking for
- Several years of experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing role
- Experience using both hand and power tools
- Solid technical skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Experience working with hydraulics and 12 volt wiring systems
- Excellent communication and the ability to work as part of a team
- Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve production issues
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality control, and workplace health and safety practices
- Commitment to continuous improvement and a collaborative mindset
- A mechanical trade background with exposure to Agriculture is highly desirable
