Leading Hand Bricklayer / Bricklaying Supervisor

Direct Homes WA is seeking a trade-qualified or equivalent experienced Bricklayer to lead a busy bricklaying team working on a continuous pipeline of large farmhouse homes located predominatly SOR. About the Role

As the Leading Hand Bricklayer, you will be responsible for managing and supervising a 5/2 bricklaying team while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

You will be working on a continuous run of farm-style homes and will play a key role in maintaining the quality and workmanship that Direct Homes WA is known for.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supervising and coordinating a bricklaying crew

- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

- Ensuring all brickwork is completed in accordance with WA building standards and codes

- Maintaining quality workmanship across all projects

- Planning daily work activities and managing site productivity

- Liaising with supervisors, site managers, and other trades as required

- Ensuring all work is completed safely and on schedule

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- WA Trade Qualification in Bricklaying or equivalent industry experience

- Proven experience leading or supervising a bricklaying team





- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction specifications

- Excellent knowledge of WA building codes and standards

- Strong organisational and communication skills

- A proactive and self-motivated attitude

- Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

- Current White Card

- Current Driver's Licence
