As a Legal Counsel, you’ll provide trusted advice that supports informed decision making across the business, helping navigate complex challenges while ensuring we meet our legal and regulatory obligations. Working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, you’ll contribute to meaningful outcomes that protect our customers, strengthen our business, and support TAL’s purpose of helping Australians live a life filled with choices, options and freedoms.
In This Role You Will:
- Provide trusted legal advice that enables confident, customer-focused business decisions.
- Navigate complex disputes and complaints to protect customer outcomes and TAL’s interests.
- Partner with Claims and Underwriting teams to manage legal risk and achieve business objectives.
- Strengthen regulatory compliance through expert guidance on industry obligations and standards.
- Build legal capability across the business through practical coaching and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver explicit, commercially focused legal solutions and advice.
