Systems Test & Validation Engineers. Multiple Roles. Melbourne.

The next generation of vehicles isn’t being built by mechanics. It’s being built by engineers who know how to prove a complex system actually works.

I’m recruiting for multiple Systems Test & Validation Engineers to work on software-defined electric vehicles. These are hands-on engineering roles focused on testing highly integrated vehicle systems in both the lab and real-world environments.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Developing and executing system-level verification and validation test cases.

• Testing ECUs, battery management systems, motor drives and communication networks.

• Identifying defects, analysing failures and producing detailed technical reports.

• Working with software, electronics and systems engineers to validate functionality against requirements.

• Supporting vehicle commissioning and regulatory compliance activities.

• Driving improvements to test procedures and automation.

We’re looking for engineers with experience in:

• System, subsystem or vehicle-level testing.

• MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW or similar test automation tools.

• CAN tools,



diagnostics and data acquisition.

• Functional safety exposure such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508 or ASIL.

• Strong understanding of mechatronics, electronics and embedded software.

• An Engineering or Computer Science degree, or equivalent industry experience.
