Full Time | Ongoing Role | West Ryde

Lead a high-performing team helping people access housing solutions and create positive outcomes for individuals and families experiencing housing instability.

About the Role

As Team Leader, Housing Solutions, you’ll lead a team of Housing Solution Consultants and Specialists responsible for delivering critical housing services across the social housing and private rental assistance pathways.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive service delivery, team performance and customer outcomes while ensuring the effective management of housing applications, social housing allocations, vacancy management, temporary accommodation and private rental assistance programs.

You’ll work closely with internal teams, government agencies, community partners and support providers to create housing opportunities for people experiencing homelessness and housing instability. You’ll also play a key role in building a positive team culture, leading change initiatives and ensuring compliance with Housing Pathways policies and legislative requirements.

What You’ll Do

- Lead,



coach and develop a team of Housing Solutions professionals
- Drive achievement of housing, vacancy and service delivery KPIs
- Oversee social housing allocations and vacancy management processes
- Support the delivery of private rental assistance and temporary accommodation programs
- Manage complaints, appeals, feedback and complex customer matters
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government, community and housing sector stakeholders
- Monitor performance, reporting, compliance and quality outcomes
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support organisational change
- Ensure services are delivered in line with legislative and policy requirements

About You

You are a collaborative and customer-focused leader with a passion for achieving positive housing outcomes. You thrive in fast-paced environments, bring strong people leadership skills and enjoy building high-performing teams focused on delivering quality services.

You Bring

- Leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Experience in housing, homelessness, community services or a related human services environment
- Strong knowledge of social housing, Housing Pathways or related service systems
- Demonstrated experience working with people experiencing complex housing needs




- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- High-level problem-solving, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong written communication and reporting capabilities
- Experience managing competing priorities, targets and operational performance
- A commitment to social justice, inclusion and customer-centred service delivery

You Also Have

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant sector experience
- A current NSW Driver Licence
- A current NSW Working With Children Check
- A National Police Check (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain one
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one
- Willingness to meet vaccination requirements
- Ability to work from the West Ryde office five days per week
