A rare opportunity to join a leading Australian engineering company that specialises hi-tech industries, manufacturing for both local and global markets. They own a state of the art, immaculate machineshop in the North East area.
Your role will encompass all aspects of QA inspection including first off and sample inspections, equipment calibration, work instructions, inspection plans and regular audits
Reporting to the QA Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) Be responsible for specific parts, inspection of parts for defects and quality control, this is a hands on role where you will be using equipment to check parts and keep documents up to date.
TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
- Trade or Engineering qualifications
- CMM Operation experience
- Documetation writing
- Inspecting experience
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Computer skills
