This is a casual Veterinary Nurse position, ideal for an experienced nurse looking for flexibility while continuing to work in a busy and rewarding clinical environment.

We're looking for someone who can confidently step into the clinic and support the team across all aspects of veterinary nursing.

Responsibilities will include:

Assisting veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and proceduresSurgical preparation and theatre assistanceMonitoring anaesthesia and patient recoveryMedical nursing and inpatient careCollecting samples and performing pathology testingAdministering medications and treatmentsEmergency and critical care nursing supportDental procedures and patient careMaintaining hygiene and infection control standards throughout the clinicProviding exceptional customer service and client communicationSupporting reception and administrative duties when requiredContributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the clinicAs a casual team member, your ability to adapt quickly and confidently support the team where needed will be highly valued.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary NursingHas at least 2 years of clinical veterinary nursing experienceIs confident and competent across both medical and surgical nursingCan work independently and hit the ground running with minimal supervisionDemonstrates excellent animal handling skillsHas strong anaesthetic monitoring and patient care capabilitiesCommunicates confidently and professionally with both clients and colleaguesRemains calm and organised in a busy environmentBrings a positive, team-first attitudeHas experience using RxWorks (advantageous but not essential)Most importantly, you're someone who genuinely cares about patient outcomes, supports your teammates, and takes pride in the care you provide.
