TLS Consulting is seeking experienced ICT professionals to join a high-performing team delivering multiple fixed-price initiatives for a major Australian Government client.

The Opportunity

- 6-month contract.

- Canberra-based positions only.

- Onsite with the client.

- Immediate commencement preferred.

- Baseline Security Clearance (minimum) is mandatory.

- Opportunity to deliver multiple strategic fixed-price initiatives within Federal Government.

- Defence experience preferred.

Delivery Manager (x2)

You will lead one or more fixed-price initiatives from commencement through to successful delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives are achieved.

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience delivering ICT projects within the Australian Federal Government and Defence.

- Proven success managing fixed-price and/or fixed-scope engagements.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Experience managing schedules, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies.

- Excellent planning, governance and reporting capabilities.

- Ability to proactively identify delivery risks and implement practical mitigations.

- Commercially aware with a solid focus on delivering contractual outcomes.

- A pragmatic,



hands-on approach with a strong bias towards delivery.

Solution Architect (x2)

You will provide end-to-end solution architecture across multiple initiatives, ensuring solution quality while supporting successful project delivery.

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect within complex Federal Government environments.

- Experience producing solution architectures and technical design artefacts.

- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and integration patterns.

- Experience working closely with delivery teams through implementation.

- Ability to balance business outcomes with technical constraints.

- Strong stakeholder engagement and technical communication skills.

- Experience operating within architecture governance processes.

- Delivery-focused with the ability to make timely, pragmatic decisions.

AI Governance Lead

You will lead the implementation of AI governance across multiple Federal Government initiatives, ensuring AI solutions are delivered safely, responsibly and in compliance with Government requirements. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring practical experience embedding governance into live projects — not simply developing policy.

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience implementing and embedding AI governance within complex organisations.

- Proven experience applying AI governance in live project delivery environments.

- Strong understanding of responsible AI, AI risk management, ethics and compliance.





- Knowledge of Australian Government security, privacy and information management requirements.

- Experience developing practical governance processes, standards and assurance artefacts.

- Ability to identify governance risks and implement pragmatic solutions that enable delivery.

- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

- A proactive, delivery-focused approach that balances governance with project outcomes.

Security Requirements

Applicants must hold a current Baseline Security Clearance (minimum) and be eligible to work onsite in Canberra.
