A Therapeutic Youth Worker supports children and young people who have experienced trauma, neglect, or challenging life circumstances. The role focuses on creating secure, stable, and nurturing environments while helping young people develop emotional regulation, life skills, and positive relationships.

Active support: meal prep, dressing, transportation, social outings, plan for and achieve daily goals Health support: administer and document medication and follow health support plans Positive behaviour support: manage behaviours, triggers and escalations Safeguarding: ensure safety of you and the young person,
