About GT Boilermaking

GT Boilermaking Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated fabrication and mine site maintenance company based in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. We provide high-quality fabrication, maintenance, shutdown and project services to the Mining, Exploration and Civil Construction industries throughout the Goldfields region.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Trade Qualified Boilermaker/Fabricator to join our expanding workshop team.

The Role

This position is primarily workshop-based, focusing on structural and fixed plant fabrication. Occasional site work may be required depending on project demands.

You will be responsible for:

- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

- Fabrication of structural steel and fixed plant components

- Heavy plate work and repairs

- Modifications, maintenance and rebuilds of mining equipment

- Welding and fabrication to a high standard

- Ensuring all work complies with company quality and safety requirements

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work workplace

Plenty of hours available with opportunities for overtime.

⚠️ Please note: This is a residential Kalgoorlie position. FIFO is not available.





About You To be successful, you will have:

- Trade qualification in Engineering (Fabrication) or equivalent

- Proven experience in a fabrication workshop environment

- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

- Excellent welding and fabrication skills

- High attention to detail and quality workmanship

- Strong commitment to workplace safety

- Ability to work both independently and within a team

- Construction White Card

- Current C Class driver’s licence (preferred)

- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol screen

- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)

Desirable but not essential:

- Working at Heights

- Confined Space

- High Risk Work Licence – EWP & Forklift

- Experience working on mining or fixed plant equipment
