Western Automate is a family-owned automatic gate & fencing company based in Cockburn Central. We are looking for an experienced workshop assistant to join our growing team.
Responsibilities Will Include
- Measuring & cutting of materials ( aluminium & steel)
- Assisting boilermakers
- Quality control
- Unpacking & packing of orders
- Maintaining stock levels
- Maintaining a tidy, organized workshop environment
Experience and Skills Required
- Physically Fit (This is a fast-paced role)
- Workshop environment exposure preferable
- Knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to follow procedures and directions from supervisors
- Excellent time management skills & ability to multitask
- Forklift Ticket required (MUST HAVE)
- Keen eye for detail & accuracy
- Own reliable transport & drivers license
- Reliable and punctual with a robust work ethic
Remuneration package includes The successful applicant will start on a probationary period of 6 months with the opportunity for full time after the probation period

- $35 per hour ( Production Bonuses)
- 4 Day Weeks - 10 Hour Days
- Position Commencing immediately
