Job Description

Wood Australia is seeking Expression of Interest for Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians with Power Industry experience to workto be a part of our team providing outage services for an upcoming project.

As an E&I; Technician, you will apply your expertise installing, servicing, repairing electrical, instruments and control systems ensuring that all work is completed safely, effectively, and to the required standards.

You will become part of a team focused on delivering solutions for our client’s assets in Queensland and create excellence delivery across assigned electrical scope of works.

Site Proficient: Experienced in outages and projects in the power generation or heavy industrial sectorTeam Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skillsWorkplace Safety: Committed to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleaguesExperience: Previous shutdown experience.

Qualifications

Valid electrical licenseCertificate III Instrumentation and ControlCertificate III Electrotechnology Systems, preferredConfined space entry - within 3 years from date of issueWorking safely at heights - within 3 years from date of issueConstruction white cardDriver's license

The role

Casual: DIDO or FIFOProject Dates: February 2027Roster: Monday to Saturday, Days/Nights,



11-hour shifts.Competitive Base Rate with casual loading on all hours + Overtime + Site Allowance.Other Benefits: Accommodation is provided to distant workers.

The successful candidate will undergo a Wood medical check and will be required to provide certificates and WAH, CS tickets before undergoing the medical.
