Cyber Security Lead

Title: Cyber Security Lead

Responsibilities

- Lead program cyber security obligations across a complex Defence environment.
- Guide and advise teams on how to meet cyber requirements across the delivery lifecycle.
- Support customer approval activities, including security documentation, evidence and assurance.
- Provide leadership across governance, risk and compliance activities.
- Partner with program, engineering and customer stakeholders to strengthen security outcomes.
- Drive continuous uplift of the program’s security posture and risk management capability.

Qualifications

- Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in cyber security, including robust experience in governance, risk and compliance.
- Knowledge of cyber security standards, risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in a Defence environment, including the Cyber Security Assessment and Authorisation Framework.




- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical teams and customer stakeholders.

Requirements

- Australian citizenship required.
- Must hold AU‑Baseline clearance and be able to obtain and maintain AU‑NV‑2.
- Some work‑from‑home flexibility; occasional travel within Australia possible.
- Based in Melbourne CBD location.
