The Opportunity Inland Petroleum is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Site 2IC to support operations at our Walgett retail site. Working closely with the Site Manager, you'll help ensure smooth daily operations, exceptional customer service, strong safety performance, and a well-presented site.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with retail, service station, or customer service experience who is ready to take the next step into a leadership position.

About the Role

As the Walgett Site 2IC, you will:

- Support the Site Manager with daily site operations
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members during shifts
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer enquiries
- Maintain site presentation, cleanliness, and operational standards
- Assist with stock control, inventory management, and deliveries
- Support cash handling, banking, and daily site administration
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food handling requirements

Key Responsibilities Include

- Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the service station
- Monitoring fuel systems, equipment, and site facilities
- Processing stock orders, deliveries, and stocktakes
- Monitoring stock rotation, expiry dates,



and promotional displays
- Completing daily site records and documentation
- Supporting rostering, staff training, and onboarding activities
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and site presentation
- Reporting maintenance, safety, and operational issues
- Promoting a positive team culture and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

- Retail, customer service, or service station experience
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and support a team during shifts
- Cash handling and point-of-sale experience
- Basic computer skills
- Current driver's licence
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends when required

Desirable

- Previous supervisory or team leader experience
- Service station or convenience retail experience
- Food handling certification
- First Aid certificate
- Forklift licence or willingness to obtain
