With our own tech team, strong online presence, and passionate people, we’re growing fast – and we’re looking for a motivated and highly capable Warehouse Assistant/Driver to join us.

About the Role

This is a casual position. The role will suit someone who has experience in delivery driving, retail, supermarkets, pick/packing, factory work or any detail-oriented & initiative based physical role. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is quick, physically fit and strong, efficient and very well organised. You’ll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting working towards deadlines, and seeks to own their role.

Please note: you must be able to regularly lift and move up to 25+ kg boxes & product and be capable/licensed (ideally full unrestricted, P2 accepted) to drive an automatic work van.

Hours:

This is a casual position, with the potential for a permanent part-time opportunity in the future for the right candidate.

The role is expected to average approximately 18.5 hours per week, with shifts generally rostered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 7:00am-3:00pm.

Applicants must be consistently available to work during these days and times.

While these will typically be the required days, shift days, hours and start/finish times may vary based on operational requirements, and flexibility outside of these times is highly regarded.

Pay: $34.76 per hour, plus Super

Pay rates are commensurate with experience, casual loading is included in the listed rate.

What you’ll do:





- Confidently drive the Flowers Across Sydney van to carry out morning market runs
- Unpack, process, and receive stock and deliveries
- Coordinate with suppliers and couriers as needed
- Support stock control, stock takes, and wastage reduction
- Help with flower prep, plant care, and on-site logistics
- Pitch in with general warehouse duties to support the whole team

About You

What you’ll bring:

- Current Australian drivers license (ideally full unrestricted license, P2 accepted)
- 1+ years of warehousing or delivery experience is ideal but not necessary.
- Capable of easily lifting heavy buckets to and from shelves (up to 25kg+ daily)
- Ability to follow, analyse and improve systems and procedures
- Exceptional time management skills
- Very well organised with high attention to detail
- Able to work as a positive and helpful team member and both give and receive constructive feedback
- General Excel & Google Docs knowledge

Bonus points for:

- Knowledge of flowers an advantage but not essential as training will be provided
- Experience with ordering and costing of stock
