About the role

RANCO MOTORS PTY LTD is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Warranty Administrator / Relief Service Advisor to join our dynamic team in Bunbury, WA. This is a full-time position that combines administrative expertise with customer service excellence. You will play a crucial role in managing warranty claims, supporting our service team, and ensuring customers receive outstanding support throughout their vehicle ownership journey.

Key responsibilities

- Processing and managing warranty claims with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all documentation is complete and submitted within required timeframes
- Liaising with manufacturers, customers and internal teams to resolve warranty-related enquiries and disputes
- Maintaining detailed warranty records and databases, ensuring information is current and accessible
- Providing administrative support to the service department, including scheduling appointments and coordinating service workflows
- Acting as a relief Service Advisor when required, greeting customers, understanding their vehicle concerns, and preparing accurate service quotations
- Following up with customers regarding service completion, warranty coverage and satisfaction
- Preparing warranty documentation, invoices and reports for management review
- Ensuring compliance with warranty terms, conditions and automotive industry regulations
- Assisting with general administrative tasks and supporting the service team to maintain smooth operations

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in warranty administration or a similar administrative role within the automotive industry
- Experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing automotive role would be highly advantageous
- Solid organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Excellent communication abilities,



both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach
- Proficiency with computer systems and software, including familiarity with workshop management systems or database applications
- Attention to detail and accuracy when processing claims and maintaining records
- Knowledge of automotive terminology, vehicle systems and warranty processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing customer concerns
- Current driver's licence and willingness to undertake any required training or certifications
