Role Description This is a part time remote role for a Web Developer at Amazon USA Honest Seller and Buyer Group.

The Web

Developer will build, maintain, and improve web applications that support honest buyer and seller interactions, ensuring reliable performance and a positive user experience. Day-to-day tasks include developing front-end interfaces, implementing back-end functionality, integrating APIs, and collaborating with product and design teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions. The role also involves optimizing website performance, troubleshooting issues, performing code reviews, and maintaining clean, secure, and well-documented code.

The Web

Developer will participate in remote team meetings, follow agile workflows, and contribute to continuous improvement of web development practices.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Web Development and Programming for building and maintaining modern web applications.





Proficiency in Front-End Development and Web Design to create accessible, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces.

Experience with Back-End Web Development for implementing server-side logic, data management, and API integrations.

Knowledge of common web technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern JS frameworks, server-side languages).

Understanding of web performance optimization, security best practices, and cross-browser compatibility.

Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment, managing time and tasks independently.

Relevant education or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies is beneficial.
