About Us:
Star Aluminium is a leading provider of high-quality aluminium products, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to our clients.
About the Role
We need someone who moves comfortably across website development, ecommerce platforms, UI/UX, CRM/IT and cloud/server basics, and who can pick up new tools and platforms quickly. Right now, a large part of this role is the technical build of our newest brand's ecommerce and B2B site: uploading a large product catalogue, setting up a freight calculator and trade account request flow, and connecting Google Merchant Centre and accounting software. This sits alongside ongoing work across our other brand websites, and from time to time you may also be asked to provide support on other websites outside our core brand family.
You will work alongside our existing developer and the project lead.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and update our WordPress and CMS based sites across all brands, including our newest ecommerce and B2B launch: new pages, UI/UX improvements, front end fixes and performance tuning, including wireframes and mockups in Figma for new builds.
· Get up to speed rapid on new and unfamiliar web projects, picking up new platforms and frameworks as needed.
· Handle ecommerce day to day: BigCommerce synchronisation, Shopify and WooCommerce product, catalogue and theme updates.
· Support our CRM/ERP rollout (Frappe/ERPNext, Zoho): configuration, custom fields, workflows, and API/webhook integrations linking our internal systems together.
· Help maintain our in house AI powered voice support assistant: knowledge base updates and integration support.
· Own the infrastructure basics: VPS/server administration, Docker, deployments and day to day cloud operations.
· Set up and maintain Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4), including technical setup and tracking integration for new Google Ads accounts.
· Build and maintain AI and automation pipelines: content/image generation, workflow automation, and automating repetitive tasks.
· Handle the technical build out of our new safety equipment ecommerce platform: bulk upload of a large product catalogue (300 to 500+ SKUs), supplier product data integration, freight calculator setup, and the trade account application and quote request flow.
· Set up Google Merchant Centre / Shopping feeds and support accounting software integration (MYOB or similar) for the new platform.
· Work side by side with our existing developer on shared coding standards, code delivery and reviews, and collaborate with future specialist hires (for example, a future purchasing coordinator) where your work overlaps with theirs.

- Active, daily use of AI tools,

- Comfortable adapting quickly to new and unfamiliar projects and platforms
- A designer's eye for UI/UX, with hands-on Figma experience producing wireframes and mockups

- Comfortable handling bulk product data (CSV/spreadsheet imports and exports) for a large-catalogue ecommerce launch

What Success Looks Like (first 90 days) · Owning the maintenance backlog across all brand sites so issues are resolved without escalation.
