We are currently seeking a Casual Workshop Boilermaker/Welder to join our team. While the role is workshop-based in Neerabup, there may be the option of occasional site work.
The position is casual with a view to becoming permanent full time.
About the Role
- Undertake fabrication of pipework/chutes/tanks and structural steel packages
- Welders to be able to weld with flux core wire, also occasional stainless steel/aluminium tig work
- Welders to have AS1554 or pass a test for AS1554
- Interpret and work from engineered drawings
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Adhere to SWMS and safe operating procedures
- Follow daily run sheets and inspection test plans
- Maintain high housekeeping standards across work areas, facilities, and vehicles
- Promote and contribute to a culture of zero harm
- Provide feedback to support continuous improvement
- Work collaboratively within a respectful team environment
- Take direction from the Leading Hand as required
About You
- Trade Certificate in Engineering Fabrication
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Solid ability to read and interpret engineered drawings
- Willing to undertake a weld test to demonstrate competency in line with internal and client standards
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
