Role: SAP Functional Consultant – Materials Management (MM) & Sales & Distribution (SD)

EXP: 6+Years

Location: Melbourne, Australia

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with 6+ years of SAP consulting experience to provide functional support, solution design and delivery across a large SAP ECC 6.0 ERP environment

The successful candidate will support SAP MM and SD business processes, delivering production support, system enhancements and project initiatives. Working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, you will ensure SAP solutions remain stable, scalable and aligned with business requirements and best practices

Key Responsibilities

- Provide functional production support across SAP MM and SD module
- Analyse and resolve incidents, defects and service request
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend permanent solution
- Work with developers, Basis, Security and Integration teams to resolve complex issue
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimisatio

Functional Responsibilities

- Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders
- Goods Receipt and Inventory Management
- Contracts and Outline Agreements
- Release Strategies and Approval Workflow
- Billing and Invoic

Stakeholder Engagement





- Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and recommend SAP best practice solutions
- Work closely with developers, Basis, Security and Integration teams
- Support workshops, testing activities and production deployments
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and external vendors
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

- Minimum 6 years' SAP functional consulting experience
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
- Experience preparing functional specifications and supporting SAP enhancements
- Valuable understanding of end-to-end business processes and SAP integration
- Experience with change management, transports and testing activities
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment and SD.
- Experience within Utilities, Energy or Infrastructure industries
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM
- Experience working across both BAU support and project del
