In this role, you'll:
- Plan and coordinate temporary transport for possessions, major events and programmed network closedowns, including contingency bussing during planned disruptions.
- This role will see you develop preliminary and detailed temporary transport plans, assess feasibility, coordinate operational requirements and evaluate outcomes to ensure safe, reliable and customer‑focused services.
- You will navigate temporary transport planning and delivery solutions in a high-volume, quick‑paced environment with competing priorities, tight timeframes and diverse stakeholders.
- Your transport planning, data analysis and coordination skills formed across public transport planning,
multi-modal operations and alternative transport delivery environments will see you excel in assessing impacts, managing concurrent work activities and minimizing customer disruption during planned service changes.
- You’re recognised as a proactive and customer‑focused transport planner, skilled at developing contingency bussing plans and coordinating stakeholders.
- You’re experienced in rail, road and transport planning with consideration of operational, customer and cost impacts.
