Maranoa Veterinary Surgery is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join their supportive team located in Roma, QLD.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Assisting veterinarians during consultations, surgeries, and procedures
- Administering medications and treatments as directed
- Monitoring anesthetics and patient recovery
- Providing nursing care and handling hospitalized animals
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring compliance with practice protocols
- Delivering excellent client communication and education
- Supporting day-to-day clinic operations, including stock control and maintaining a clean setting

Skills & Qualifications

- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification)




- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of animal health, welfare, and handling techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively
- A genuine passion for animals and client care

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience pa commensurate with experience
