Role Title: Engineering Manager – Diving and Hyperbaric

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Caringbah, Australia

What you’ll be doing

- Leading the Engineering department in alignment with JFD strategic objectives and regulatory frameworks.
- Managing engineering capacity planning, resourcing, budgeting, and technical partnerships.
- Overseeing engineering outputs across safety, quality, cost, operability, and supportability requirements.
- Controlling engineering schedules, budgets, and reporting deliverables.

What we’re looking for

- Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Hold an Engineering Australia Registration (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience in a technical management role within the Subsea, Defence or Maritime sector.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor.
- Strong understanding of product design and/or design integration of engineering systems.
- Experienced in technical risk and mitigation management.
- Experience setting and delivering medium- and long-term strategies, budget and resource plans.




- Must be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
- Applicants must have existing Australian work rights.
