Kotahi Consulting are partnered with a well-regarded mid‑tier civil contractor and seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator. Working across a diverse portfolio of transport, energy, gas and mining infrastructure projects, you'll play a key role in the commercial success of multiple projects while working closely with Project Managers and the Senior Leadership Team.
The Role
You'll take ownership of key commercial functions including:
- Subcontract procurement, negotiation and contract administration
- Assessment and certification of subcontractor progress claims
- Supporting Project Managers with head contract progress claims and invoicing
- Preparation and management of variations and contractual claims
- Assisting with end‑of‑month financial reporting, forecasting and project performance
You’ll be supported by experienced Project Administrators, allowing you to focus on the higher‑value commercial aspects of project delivery.
About You
We’re looking for candidates with:
- Experience in a Contracts Administration or Commercial role within civil construction
- Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Engineering and Commerce
- Strong knowledge of subcontract management and commercial processes
- Exposure to transport, utilities, mining or infrastructure projects
- Experience using Jobpac (highly regarded)
- The ability to build strong relationships with project teams, subcontractors and clients
