About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Glazier to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play an important role in the preparation, installation, replacement, and finishing of glass components for a wide range of aluminium window and door systems.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Interpret work orders, technical drawings, and project specifications to determine the correct glass types, dimensions, and installation requirements for aluminium window and door systems.
- Measure, mark, cut, and prepare glass panels to accurate specifications using specialised glazing tools and equipment.
- Inspect glass products for defects, damage, or imperfections prior to fabrication and installation, ensuring only high-quality materials are used.
- Install glass into aluminium windows, sliding doors, bi-fold doors, fixed panels, splashbacks, and other architectural glazing systems while ensuring secure fit and proper sealing.




- Remove and replace damaged or broken glass safely and efficiently during repair, maintenance, or refurbishment projects.
- Finish and smooth glass edges where required to achieve safe handling and a professional appearance.
- Apply glazing compounds, sealants, gaskets, and other fixing systems to ensure weather resistance, structural integrity, and long-term performance.
- Assist in the assembly, adjustment, and final inspection of completed window and door products before dispatch or installation.
- Handle glass products carefully during transportation, fabrication, and installation to minimise damage and material wastage.
- Work collaboratively with manufacturing, installation, and quality assurance teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
- Maintain glazing equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean, organised, and safe condition.
- Comply with workplace health and safety procedures, safe manual handling practices, and relevant Australian Standards relating to glazing and construction.

Qualifications:

- Certificate III in Glass and Glazing (preferred but not required)
- Relevant trade qualification or demonstrated experience as a Glazier.

Skills & Other Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Experience installing and handling residential and commercial glazing products, particularly aluminium window and door systems, is highly regarded.
- Ability to read technical drawings and accurately interpret measurements and specifications.
- Solid attention to detail with excellent workmanship and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of glazing techniques, sealants, hardware, and safe glass handling practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
