What's the role?
Embedded at the helm of the Taste video team, the Executive Producer (EP) will be the strategic, creative, and operational driving force behind our long-form YouTube strategy.
You will lead the vision from end to end, developing high-impact story arcs, casting and managing top-tier talent, leading production crews, and remaining heavily hands-on throughout the edit and post-production process.
From talent-led to deep-dive cooking series, you will ensure our long-form content is visually stunning, commercially viable, and narrative-driven. Beyond YouTube releases, you will oversee the creation of optimized, high-performing short-form social edits (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) to drive reach and brand authority across all Taste digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Story & Concept Development: Develop, and structure compelling, high-impact long-form video concepts, series formats, and narrative arcs tailored specifically for YouTube growth and audience retention.

- End-to-End Field & Studio Production: Lead pre-production and showrunner duties on set; direct studio multi-cam setups, location shoots, and complex culinary video packages to ensure top-tier production value.
- Heavy Post-Production & Edit Involvement: Drive post-production workflows by reviewing assemblies, guiding story edits, giving precise structural feedback, and ensuring both long-form cuts and short-form social hooks hit the highest editorial standards.
- Distribution & Strategy: Direct the publishing strategy across YouTube Studio and internal CMS platforms, overseeing best practices for high-CTR thumbnails, titles, metadata, and social cross-promotion.
- Brand & Creative Leadership: Translate food trends, digital culture, and creator talent into visually dynamic, emotionally engaging video narratives that elevate the Taste brand and meet commercial KPIs.
Who are you?
- Executive Storytelling & Directing Mastery: Proven track record of conceptualising, structuring, and producing long-form, talent-led video shows that hold audience retention.
- Deep Post-Production Oversight: Extensive experience managing post workflows with high proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro able to do hands-on fine cuts, story polishes, and give actionable edit direction.
- Technical Production Leadership: Comprehensive understanding of camera setups, studio/kitchen lighting, audio capture, and multi-cam vodcast workflows to effectively direct crew and technical leads.
- YouTube Strategy Native: Masterful understanding of YouTube mechanics, pacing, packaging, thumbnail/title strategy, retention analytics, and cross-platform social trends.
