About the Role:

Burnie Brae is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Café Allrounder to join our welcoming team at Café Connect on a casual basis. The position will involve working a variety of hours.

Our Café Allrounders serve our customers with exceptional customer service and assist with the preparation of food and beverages.

Café Connect is a vibrant café located at Burnie Brae, Chermside. The café operates Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 2:30pm and provides the local community with a friendly meeting place to enjoy quality tea and coffee plus freshly baked sweet treats and light meals.

As a Café Allrounder, your role will include:

- Providing exceptional customer service and assistance to all customers
- Making coffee, tea, and cold beverages
- Assisting with food preparation and short-order cooking of light meals
- Quality control
- Cleaning of the café and kitchen
- Taking orders and payments
- End-of-day closing and banking

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience working in a similar role
- Have excellent availability Monday to Friday and be available for 7.00am starts
- Barista experience essential
- Experience with short order cooking
- Experience completing basic food preparation
- General knowledge of Australian Food Safety Standards
- Exceptional customer service skills and friendly demeanor
- Excellent presentation
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to problem solve




- Ability to work autonomously and as a supportive team player
- Hold a current National Police Check (or the ability to obtain)
