Do you love the water, enjoy working with people and want to make a real difference in your community? Goldfields Oasis is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Casual Swim Instructor to join our friendly Swim School team.

Whether you're helping a child gain confidence in the water, teaching vital life-saving skills or celebrating a student's first independent lap, every lesson you deliver has a lasting impact.

What you'll be doing

As a Swim Instructor, you'll help people of all ages and abilities develop their swimming skills in a safe, engaging and encouraging environment. Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering high quality swimming lessons tailored to individual learning needs and abilities.
- Creating fun, inclusive and engaging lessons that build confidence and water safety skills.
- Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to the Senior Officer Swim School and Pool Deck Supervisor.
- Maintaining the highest standards of pool safety and proactively addressing hazards or unsafe behaviours.
- Providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming experience for students, families and Centre visitors.
- Working collaboratively with the Swim School team to continuously improve lesson delivery and programs.
- Maintaining accurate attendance records and lesson documentation.
- Ensuring Swim School equipment is used safely and stored correctly.
- Communicating promptly with the Senior Officer Swim School and Pool Deck Supervisor if you're unable to attend a rostered shift.

What you'll bring

You'll be someone who enjoys helping others learn, thrives in a team environment and is committed to creating positive experiences in and around the pool.

Ideally you'll have:





- Current Swim Teacher qualification (or willingness to obtain).
- Current CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to customer service and water safety.
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children and adults.
