About the roleOur client is a well-known, quick-growing premium retail brand investing heavily in its technology backbone. They're looking for an experienced Test Lead to own test strategy across a major SAP S/4HANA retail implementation.

You'll be stepping into a newly vacant leadership role at a pivotal moment, with real scope to shape how testing is done across the business.

What you'll be doing

- Designing, owning and continuously refining the test strategy across a heavily integrated SAP landscape dozens of touchpoints across warehouse management, point of sale, merchandise planning, people systems, forecasting and data platforms
- Leading and mentoring a team of 2-4, balancing hands-on execution with strategic oversight
- Holding SI and implementation partners accountable for quality outcomes
- Overseeing functional, regression, system integration and UAT testing across both project and BAU releases
- Building and maintaining automated regression frameworks within CI/CD
- Identifying and scoping opportunities for RPA
- Establishing a pragmatic, scalable testing approach suited to a fast-moving, entrepreneurial culture

What you'll bring





- 7+ years' QA/testing experience, including at least 2 years in a test leadership role
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (ideally Retail) and SAP Activate methodology
- A track record of managing testing across complex, integration-heavy programmes
- Confidence engaging with and holding SI partners to account
- Strong stakeholder communication and the ability to advocate for testing requirements under pressure
