Lead, develop and run day‑to‑day operations of the QC department for a values‑driven organisation that prioritises quality.
Responsibilities
- Manage the quality control of raw materials, bulk product and materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Oversee day‑to‑day laboratory operations for a team of 21 across 3 shifts (days, afternoons, nights).
- Provide technical guidance with out‑of‑spec (OOS) investigations and troubleshooting.
- Maintain robust working relationships with key departments such as manufacturing, warehouse, and purchasing.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed customer quality expectations.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in analytical laboratory, supervisory, and department management roles within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.
- Science degree in Analytical Chemistry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a high‑performing team in a TGA & GMP environment.
- Strong commitment to honesty, problem solving, and detail‑oriented quality control.
- PR, AU or NZ citizenship and a valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
