CM Floors Pty Ltd is a leading commercial flooring contractor based in Adelaide, specialising in premium flooring installations across schools, hospitals, aged care facilities, office fit-outs, retail spaces and government projects.

About the Role

Working alongside experienced flooring installers, your duties will include:

* Assisting with the installation of commercial carpet tiles, broadloom carpet, vinyl planks, sheet vinyl and other flooring products.

* Floor preparation including grinding, patching, self-levelling and moisture mitigation preparation.

* Removal and disposal of existing floor coverings.

* Loading, unloading and transporting flooring materials.

* Site set-up and pack-down.

* Maintaining clean, organised and secure work areas.

* Assisting tradespeople to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

* Working across multiple commercial construction sites throughout Adelaide.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must possess:

* Current Australian Driver’s Licence.

* Reliable transport.

* White Card (Construction Induction Card).

* Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol Screening (DAS).

* National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).

* Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment if required by the client.

* Excellent work ethic and positive attitude.

* Robust communication skills.

* High level of reliability and punctuality.





* Ability to work both independently and within a team.

* Physically fit and capable of manual handling.

* Willingness to work early starts, overtime and occasional weekends when required.

* Flexibility to work across various locations throughout metropolitan Adelaide.

* Commitment to workplace safety and following company procedures.c

Desirable (But Not Essential)

* Previous experience in commercial flooring or construction.

* Experience with floor preparation.

* Experience installing or assisting with carpet tiles, broadloom carpet, vinyl plank or sheet vinyl.

* Confidence using common hand and power tools.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Ability to follow site plans, instructions and work schedules.

* First Aid Certificate.
