Northern Health is looking for motivated and experienced Occupational Therapists to join our team.
About Northern Health
We are the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community, and home-based services in Melbourne’s outer north, operating across five main campuses and various community sites.
About the Role
The Occupational Therapy service at Northern Health is inclusive, supportive, and committed to evidence-based practice. We prioritize positive patient outcomes and teamwork. Our team of over 100 staff members is dedicated to growth and development opportunities.
Our Occupational Therapists work across areas including:
- Acute
- Sub-acute (rehabilitation, GEM, transitional care)
- Home-based services
- Community Rehabilitation
- CHSP and NDIS
- Hand Therapy
- Pediatrics (Neonatal ward and outpatient)
Candidate Requirements
- Experience or positive working knowledge of inpatient and/or community Occupational Therapy practice
- Ability to thrive in a team environment within a large department
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and lifelong learning
- Ability to show initiative and flexibility
- High professional standards
- Understanding of cultural diversity in the community
