Senior Educator – Diploma in Early Childhood Education

Overview

As a Senior Educator at Goodstart, you will lead your own room and manage a dedicated team of educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. You will collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve teaching practices. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a room of educators, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to evaluate and enhance teaching practices.
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing and inclusivity of all children in the centre.
- Design and implement educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA‑approved equivalent).




- Robust knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Current Queensland Working with Children Check.
