Clarity Partner is partnering with a dynamic and international mining producer. This organisation integrates sustainability into every phase of its operations — from planning through closure — ensuring that business decisions deliver positive social, environmental, and economic outcomes.

As a Systems Accountant, you will act as the vital link between finance and technology, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and performance of financial systems. You’ll play a key role in optimising systems and processes, supporting reporting functions, and driving continuous improvement across the finance environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and enhance the integrity of financial and ERP systems, ensuring accurate reconciliations across ledgers and modules
- Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations in collaboration with IT and external vendors
- Develop and deliver accurate financial and management reports, dashboards, and analytics
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related issues while implementing long-term solutions
- Review, document, and improve accounting processes and internal controls




- Support the month-end and year-end close processes with system reconciliations and analysis
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency
- Provide user training and guidance on financial systems and reporting tools

About You

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA or CPA qualification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in accounting roles with a focus on financial systems or systems accounting (implementations and/or upgrades)
- High-level Pronto experience is a must-have
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to translate financial requirements into system solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
