We are on the hunt for an experienced and commercially driven eCommerce Manager to take ownership of the day‑to‑day trading and operational performance of our online channels. This hands‑on role is responsible for delivering online sales targets through best‑in‑class website optimisation, merchandising and customer experience initiatives.
Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Manage day‑to‑day trading and content across all online sales channels, including product data, enrichment, categories and pricing
- Plan and execute website campaigns in line with the promotional calendar
- Own onsite visual merchandising and optimise conversion through data‑led insights and performance reporting
- Maintain website content including homepage, landing pages, banners and promotional assets
- Work closely with Product, Production and Creative teams to deliver accurate product content and eCommerce photography
- Brief, manage and deliver digital assets for the website, including landing pages and promotional content
- Write and optimise SEO‑friendly product descriptions and website content
- Develop and deliver blog content in collaboration with Marketing and external agencies to drive organic traffic
- Implement SEO content updates as provided by agency partners
- Deliver CRO initiatives and UX improvements to enhance the customer journey and increase conversion
- Use digital analytics tools to identify optimisation opportunities and customer experience improvements
- Identify, log and manage website bugs and enhancements through to UAT and post‑deployment testing
- Work with development partners and internal teams to resolve technical and integration issues
- Collaborate with CRM, Digital Marketing and agency partners on integrated campaigns across EDM, Paid Search, Social and SEO
- Partner with Customer Service,
Retail Operations and Fulfilment teams to deliver a seamless end‑to‑end customer experience
- Deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting
- Use web analytics to drive continuous optimisation and performance improvements
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of three years’ experience in an eCommerce Manager role within the retail industry or at a digital agency
- Strong experience across digital marketing channels including SEO, Paid Search, Social and Affiliates
- Solid understanding of eCommerce best practice, onsite merchandising and conversion drivers
- Data‑driven and analytical, with experience turning insights into performance improvements
- Commercial, performance‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving and initiative
- Creative eye with the ability to contribute to digital assets and content
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Proven stakeholder management and relationship‑building capability
- Highly organised, able to multitask and manage competing priorities in a rapid‑paced environment
- A passion for eCommerce and digital who is customer‑centric and collaborative team player
- Willingness to learn and grow and are curious and a critical thinker
